How to add command line parameters

When you use Travel Mate to load OziExplorer and you want to add command line parameters to OziExplorer (See Special Keys and Stuff in OziExplorer Help file)

/mmstart - Starts Moving Map (NMEA) communication
/mmcontrol - Shows the Moving Map Control
/navcontrol - Shows the Navigation Control
/gpsfix - Shows the GPS Fix window

/showtrack - Shows

example  command lines
oziexp.exe /mmstart /mmcontrol /navcontrol /gpsfix /showtrack
oziexp.exe /mmstart
oziexp.exe c:\oziexplorer\maps\mymap.map /mmstart /mmcontrol

You will need to modify the Travel Mate.ini file to add the required parameters. In Travel Mate.ini file look for [Setting] and oziText=OziExplorer3952.exe (or the version you are using) and add the startup parameters. Example  oziText=OziExplorer3904.exe /mmstart /gpsfix

Q. How can I load a track file so it loads no matter which map I select?

A. Use Travel Mate Load option. You can load Waypoints, Route, Track and Point files every time Travel Mate starts. So if you are travelling and you often shut down OziExplorer, you can now use this to reload the waypoints, track, route and Points you were using on your trip.

Q. While navigating along a Route, the Odometers distance seems to be incorrect.

Computer crashes when closing OziExplorer

Q. When closing OziExplorer, Error message is displayed and Travel Mate crashes

A. Use the Travel Mate Menu Quit to Close Travel Mate or Close OziExplorer. If you close OziExplorer from it's close button while Travel Mate is still loaded, then Travel Mate may report an error and crash. This can happen because of the hooks between OziExplorer and Travel Mate do not get released properly and it can not see OziExplorer to release them if it is closed first.

Odometer or other displays disappear

Q. When Travel Mate is loaded the Odometer or other displays are not visible.

A. If you resize OziExplorer window it can affect the display positions. They may be displayed off the screen. To fix this the simplest way is to delete Travel Mate.ini file but you will loose all your setting or you could edit the file and go down to [Position] and look for any values that have a minus value.
