Suggestion to improve Sound Quality when using Travel Mate.

If you are using a PC or Laptop in your Four Wheel Drive, you can utilise the internal  speakers.  look at the following options.

Belkin TuneCast FM Transmitter. Available at minidisc.com.au or

From Dick Smith Electronics.  search for Belkin TuneCast FM Transmitter

This uses your FM radio to receive the audio from the PC or Laptop. This way you can listen to music and use Travel Mate Agent to give directions.

To record Track and Waypoint information use a good quality headset microphone or mount a microphone close to your head.

Playing Music and Agent at the same time

Excellent free MP3 player is Winamp which can play music at a different level to Windows Agent. This allows you to have different sound levels for music and Agent speech.  If installed, Travel Mate can pause the music when agent speaks.
